Some of the newly-elected members of Parliament appear to be already concerning themselves about the seats they will occupy in the next Parliament, and in a few cases cards have been placed on the coucliek in the Chamber. The Clerk of the House of Representatives (Mr. E. W. Kane) stated last night that nothing definite had yet been undertaken regarding the allocation _ of seats. It was too early yet to go into the matter, and there was no certainty that tlie members concerned would occupy the seats on which their cards now rested.
