BURDEN ON THE TAXPAYERS.
London, May 7. Replying in the House of Commons to Sir Edward Grigg, Mr. Philip Snowden said it was calculated that the "•nmial interest charge payable by British taxpapers on loans made to the Allies auring the war amounted to more than £loo,ooo,ooo—Reuter.
