MELBOURNE TRAM STRIKE
' NO SIGN OF SETTLEMENT. Melbourne, May 8. There are no signs of the ending of the tramway strike. The Arbitration Court, which was expected to intervene, has not yet done so. The public generally are suffering acute hardship in reaching places of business in the city.—Press Assn. (Rec. May 8, 9.50 p.m.) Melbourne, May 8. The tram strike is still unsettled.
