AUTUMN FLOWERS

HUTT VALLEY SHOW, JUDGE PRAISES EXHIBITS The annual autumn show of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society was opened yesterday by Air. J. G. llelyar, president of the society. Mr. W. H. 1. Barber, the judge of the chrysanthemums and dahlias, stated that the exhibits were of a very high standard indeed, and he had had considerable, difficulty in adjudicating upon thm. Preston S T Wakelin won outright the chrysanthemum cup, having now won it for three years in succession. RH.S. silver medals were awarded to W "Slater for his stand of chrysanthemums. and to F.
