EASTERN SUBURBS TOURNEY. In the first round of the post section play of the Eastern Suburbs tournament, played yesterday morning, Dustin (Lyadl Bay) 18. was defeated by Ramsay. 24, and Gfetidining (Wellington) 19, was beaten by Gilbert (Lynll Bay), 24. In the second round a fine game ended in R. Ramsay (Hataitai) defeating Gilbert (Lyall Bay) by 21 —19. Gilbert was lying the shot when the skips went down on the final head (with the score 19 all), but Ramsay trailed the jack into the ditch and lay one shot, and with his second drew another shot. The final between Ramsay (Hataitai) and Duncan (Wellington) will be played on the Lyall Bay green on Saturday afternoon. MANAWATU TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association.
