HEAVY SENTENCES

IMPOSED BY MAYENCE COURT-MARTIAL Berlin, April 20. The court-martial at Maycnce, on a number of persons accused of espionage and sabotage in the Ruhr during June, has ended by the sentencing of twelve persons from three to twenty years’ hard labour, and nine to from a year to five years’ imprisonment. Two persons were condemned to death, and six were sentenced to twenty yews’ hard labour.—Renter.
