« Brussels, January 16. Wyns defeated Bjlly Matthews, who was disqualified in the fourth round for hitting low. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. DEMPSEY AND GIBBONS MATCHED. (Roc. January 18, 8.30 p.m.) New York, January 17. Tex Rickard has announced that Dempsey and Gibbons have been matched to meet in New York in the first week in June. He stated that he hopes the match between Firpo and Wills will take place in mid July, the winner to meet Dempsey for a title contest in September.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
