RONA AND MURIHIKU IN WELLINGTON KONINI SAILS WELL Southland’s Sanders Cup representative Murihiku arrived at V. ellington vesterday morning by ihe Maori. Iler crew are arriving here this morning by rile Wahino. Murihiku is painted a dark ret., and looks very well. Roua, the defender of the Cup, arrived at Wellington by me Auckland Express yeserday afternoon with three members'of her jrew—H Brown, W. Smith, and J. Gifford The other three members of her crow -A Wi'it-tts, V. Lidgard, and E. Matthew's —slwuld arrive. here to-morrow. Rena, which is painted blue and white, will be removed from the railway yard to the Boat Harbour this morning. Konini (Hawke’s Bay) and June (Otago) were out on the harbour yesterday morning. ' Th’ere was a fresh southerly blowing, and the two boats sailed very well, although Konini seemed to do better. Konini created a very favourable impression with several yachtsmen who were watching her. Wellington’s representative, Peggy, arrived at the Boat Harbour yesterday from Kaiwarra, where she has been overhauled by Mr. Palmer. She is varnished red, and presents a fine sight. Her crew will have a trial sail during the week end.
