MYSTERIOUS ROBBERY
OF BRITISH TREASURY NOTES.
(Rec. April 13, 7.15 p.m.) London, April 13. Scotland Yard is engaged in investigating a mysterious robbery of a new issue of Treasury notes, of the value of £17,500 from tho Bradford parco.s office on Tuesday. A bullion box forwarded from London and placed in the railway office on Tuesday was missed yesterday. There were no signs that the office had been broken into. The theory is that the robbery was carried out by n gang of experts, who travelled in the train containing tho notes and who toon not© of wheie they were stored. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
