FOODLESS FOR TWO DAYS
RESCUE IN WELSH COLLIERY. Glee. March 19, 7.20 p.m.) London, March 19. A repairer in 'a Llanelly colliery, named Simon, was entombed without food for 48 hours. His rescuers worked in relays, standing in water up to their waists, while making a cutting sixteen yards long in order to reach him. Finally they were successful.
