MINISTER OF MINES VISITS WEST COAST BY TELEGRAPH.-PRESS ASSOCIATION. Westport, March 11. The Hou. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Mines and Marine, arrived on Friday from Nelson. He • visited tho Westport. Coal Company’s mines at Denniston, and officially opened the School of Mines at Granity, and visited Charleston. To-morrow ’ morning, the Minister will make a tour of tho harbour works, later conferring with the harbour advisory committee, and leaves for Reefton in the afte~)>on.
