FOUND HANGING
' By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, September 15. George F. Hendry, chief sub-editor of the "Sun," was found hanging ,in a lavatory at his residence at Beckenham at 5.30 p.m. He left the newspaper office at 4 p.m., when he appeared to be in normal health. Deceased was a single man and a native of Mosgiel. He was educated at the Otago Bpys’ High School, and started in journalism at Dunedin. Afterwards he was on the staffs of the "New Zealand Times” and Auckland "Herald.” He joined the / "Sun” as a reporter on its inception in 1913.
