STRANDED THEATRICAL PEOPLE
SHIPPED AWAY FROM SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, September 12. Through passengers by the Makura from Sydney include a,number of theatrical people, who were formerly members of tho Annette Kellerman Company. Mr. Talbot Henderson,, one of them, states that they were stranded in Sydney and ar© now being shipped back third class to Honolulu, having signed; the follow- . ing:—"I hereby acknowledge having received tho sum of , which I accept in full settlement of my salary to August 20 inclusive. I undertake ,in consideration ..of such payment, not to take any proceedings against you in ■ respect to the contract entered into with Miss Kellerman’s big hhow in Australia until you return to America.’’
