INQUIRY BY ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS. London, August 9. - The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. after a careful inquiry into tho appeal of Edward Yeats, .expresses the opinion that a prima facie case of grave iniustice has been established. The collogo earnestly requests tho .Now Zealand Government to fully and impartially investigate the circumstances. A copy of tho report was sent to tho High Commissioner, Lord Milner--Inter replied that he had not power to give any direction, tho case being one entirely for the New Zealand Government.—Aus.-N.Z. rMr. Edward Yeats was convicted in En eland for wearing the uniform of a captain of the, Now Zealand Expeditionary, Force when he was not entitled to do so. The incident arose through Mr. Yeats taking tip the attitude that he had not resigned from the forces, whereas the New Zealand authorities declared that ho lmd. JTe was fined 25 guineas, but appealod. The appeal was dismissed, but on his undertaking not to wear tlio uniform the fine lvns reduced to Is. Mr. Yeats is a Fellow of the Royal Col lego of.
