S , ARRESTED ON CHARGE OF INSANITY. Sydney,_ August 10. Much public interest is being displayed in tho case of Sister I<igouri. a nun who escaped from a convent at Wagga Wagga find was brought to Sydney, where she took refuse in tho house of a Congregational minister until she was arrested' undor a warrant issued at tho instance of the Roman Catholic Bishop of tho diocoso. Tho information sot out that Bridget Partridge, otherwise Sister Ligouri, was a person deemed to bo insane and without sufficient means of support. Tlb Court has remanded her for seven ilavs to a reception house for export medical observation. Tho Court was densely crowded. Protestant organise tions are taking ii prominont part in tho case.—Press Assn.
