SCHOONER WRECKED
ONE MAN DROWNED,
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 9. The Northern 'S.S. Co.'s auxiliary schooner Te Tcko was completely wrecked on Slipper Island, near Mercury Bay, on Friday night. Joseph Gobie, one of the crew, was drowned. The others arrived at Tairrni safely.
