They believe it to be to the advantage of the industry that this company should bo permitted to purchase a fair proportion of produco in open competition. The license, they state, could be revoked if used to tbei detriment of tho producers. They suggest, further, that all meat-buying firms should bo required to send to the Department of Asriculturc monthly returns of stock bought and frozen, with any other information required. Thest! returns could bo used to check the misuse of licenses.
