DAYLIGHT SAVING
SPORTSJ'ROTECTION LEAGUE AND GOVERNMENT BILL. Tho following resolution has been carried bv the Sports Protection Lcaguo:— "That"the Board of Control of tho Sports Protection Lcaguo supports the Bill before Parliament, which provides that standard time in New Zealand shall bo the 6amo as that at Meridian 180, which involves advancing tho clocks about half an hour, upon tho ground.* that tho change will bo most advantageous to the general body of tho community, and tend to greater efficiency and a saving of light and coal."
