PETONE TECHNICAL SCHOOL
BOARD OF MANAGERS MEET. The monthly meeting of the board of managers of the Pctone Technical School was hold last night, Mr. D. M'Kenzie presiding. There were also present: Messrs. W. B. Nicholson and D. S. Bedingfield.
Tho director (Mr, J. H. Lynskey) reported that 6cven applications wero received for thei position of instructor in boot-repairing. Mr. J. Hepworth, oi Petone, was appointed.
Accounts totalling .£73 os. 9d, were passed for payment. , Tho Education Board wrote intimating that tho number of managers to bo elected for tho year 1920-21 would bo 11, made up ae follow:—Potono Borough Council, 2; Lower Hiitt Borough Council, 2; subscribers, if formed into an association, 3; Education Department. The director said that that was the present , constitution of the board. On the motion of the chairman, it was decided to instruct the director to apply to the Education Department for 6ome forms, ns furniture, for* uso at the lectures tTfat it is proposed to hold shortly.
