JUVENILE COURT
Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided over a sit* ting of the Juvenile Court on Saturday. A 15-year-old 'boy was charged with having 'stolen a carburetter valued at <£4, the property of the Cycle and Motor Supplies Ltd. The boy had lieon in -trouble previously, and the probation .officer said he could not give a favourable report, and suggested that, the lad should bo sent, to Wereroa Training Farm. The 'Magistrate agreed that this was (lie only course that he could take, and tho boy was' committed to Wereroa. The father was ordered to contributa I.os. per week towards the support of his son. ■ Two raiders of an orchard at ltoua Bay were admonished and discharged, and several juvenile smokers were placed on their good bchavronr for six months.
