The I/abour Representation Conrmittoo decided to oontest tho four city electorates, nl6o the Chalmers scat, at tho genoral election. Representatives of tlio ' Lower Hutt branch of the New Zealand Labour Party and the Petone Labour Representation Committeo met <at Lower Hutt on Thursday, and formed a provisional committee to organise for political action with a view to contesting tho Hutt seat at the general election.
