The second shoot lof tho Hutt Valley Gun Club for the//season was held at Taita on Wednead my, when two events were decided. Thu first .was a 21 ami the second at 15, | clay-bird match, and were for trophie3T (resented by Messrs. S. Scott and W. Kil mister. The, results were as follow:—
Mr. S. Scott's trophy, 21 birds, leg-in— W. Kilmistor, llyi'ls., 19 breaks (won in the shoot-off); 11. Khilp, 11yds., 19 breaks; E. Flux, 17yds., .17 breaks; F. Gadsby, 10yds., 17 breaks. ■ Mr. AY. Kilmist'ir's trophy, 15 birds — W. Tulloch, 17yds j., 14 breaks (won outright); A. Scott, 16yds., 13 breaks; E. Flux, 17yds„ 12 b:feaks; 1!-. Philp. 11yds., 12 breaks; W. Kilrnister, 12yds., 12 breaks.
