AN INQUIRY. (Bi Tsleeraph.—Pri Association.) Dunedlri September 16. The Otago Rugby union opened an inquiry to-night into fan allegation made by Eckhold that hei bad been offered money by Graliam : ind another member of the southern iieam to play "stiff" in the Southern v. /.University match, played last Saturdajj, in which University won by 27 poin ts to nil. At half-time Eckhold left the field, as ho stated in his declaration that he had a very strong opinictn that Graham and AVhitty were "stool ners." A large number lof witnesses were called, and tho inquiry was adjourned till Monday.
