MR. HOLMAN ON THE HOSTILE. . . CRUSADE.. By Merraph—Preea Association—Copyright (Reo. August 26, 11.55 p.m.) Sydney, August 26. Mr. Holman, New South Wales Premier, informed the Assembly, that every Department of the Public Service had been instructed to remove any Germans in. positions of a confidential nature or who might have access to confidential documents. It had been found that aotion was necessary in very few cases. Hie Government was, now. getting an absolutely complete list of every public servant of German birth or extraction. He urged members not to encourage the "stupid hysteria or license which- occasionally manifests itself amongst the less controlled of our population."
