TERRIFIC EXPLOSION.
THIRTEEN KILLED; SIX INJURED. By TeleEraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. February 11, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, February 10. .' A terrific explosion, caused by a premature discharge of dynamito, wrecked tho railway construction works on nn island in Rainy Lake, province of Ontario. The whole surrounding rock strata were uprooted. ,Thirteen men wero killed, and six injured. The bodies were dreadfully mangled, that of the foreman being blown a hundred and forty feet.
