The proposals of a syndicate -f American capitalists to establish casinos, race racks, and gambling halls at Hamilton, Bermuda, transforming tho island inlj a veritable Monto Carlo, were summarily rejected by the order of the Governor, Sir \\alker Kitchener. A member of the Bermuda Parliament declares that the residents have an old-fashioned ; rejudice against suicides.
