A rabbiter, named Henry Williamson, a tingle man, residing at 18G Adelaide Road, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday afternoon suffering from a gunshot wound in the arm. It appeal's that while out shooting near, Sinclair Head on Saturday ho received a'shot :n the arm from a pea-rifle. The bullet was successfully removed by au operation yesterday, aud" the patient is progressing satisfactorily. DROWNED WHILE SURFING. (liy Telegraph—Fress Association,. Greymouth, January 22. A young mau named Lester Carpenter, 24 years of age, was drowned this afternoc'n while bathing in the surf.
