A Pahiatua rink of bowlers went over to Palmerston on Wednesday . afternoon, and played the Terraco End holders of the Dixon Cup oh tho Terrace End green, but suffered defeat to the tune of 19 to 15. Tho Pahiatua team were: Messrs: Mills, Walsh, Hawkins, and Hewatt (s.), and tho holders aro: Messrs. Adams, Sutcliffe, Martin, and Turner (s.). A rink from Shannon has sent in a challenge, and also one from the Palmerston Club, skipped by. Tasker. ■ • ■ ■
CHRISTCHURCH TOURNAMENT., I Christchurch, January 19. Tho'final of rinks and doubles will be played to-inorrow, but it is not anticipated that the singles will be finished yntil Saturdoy.
