A man.namod Alfred Potto was charged on Tuesday with drunkenness, when a penalty of £1 was inflicted, and the delinquent ordered" to leave the town forthwith. A prohibition order was issued on Wednesday against John M'Cully. The No-License advocate, tho Rev. Mr. Palmer, gave an address in the Town Hall on Wednesday night, but, owing to rough weather, only a handful of 'people attended. Those present, however, speak highly of the lecture.
