GREYTOWN.

The District officers of the 1.0.0.F.,M.U. (Bros. O'Sullivan and Robertson) visited the Loyal Groytovm Lodge on Wednesday evening, when a good number of brothers were present to greet them. The new Bill affecting friendly societies was discussed, and the obnoxious clauses, 15 and 16, were condemned as not leading to the desired end, as tlioy allow a levy instead of a definite amount of contributions for a stated benefit. The proposed new" agreement between the lodges and the doctors, put forward by the latter, was also brought forward, and it was considered the agreement was too one-sided. It is proposed to arrange a conference to deal with this question. Most beneficial rains liavo fallen 'during tho last few days, and tho feed is now very plentiful in the district.
