The fortnightly meeting of the above was held on Thursday. Present : The Mayor (Mr A. M. Brodrick), Crs Sanders, Jolly, Wisharf, and Campbell. Minutes of last meeting were confirmed.

Inward correspondence was dealt with as follows :- From tlie Vincent Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, notifying that quarterly contribution of £2o lGs 3d was now due. Payment, authorised. Mr G. Campbell drew attention to the poor class of accommodation provided for passengers on the Otago Central line, lie thought this line should be classified ;.s a. main line. Speaking on the matter the Mayoi said the accommodation was anything but comfortable, and improv snicnt should certainly be made.
