CLYDEVALE PUNT.

The county engineer (Mr Ramsay) and his staff have been able to raise the sunken punt at Clydevale sufficiently far to have it patched. There is & considerable hole knocked in one side, but Mr Ramsay"hopes to have it running again very shortly. Meantime a temporary punt has been rigged up on the new wire rope, and by this means pedestrians and cyclists are able to cross, although it would be too dangerous to attempt a crossing with a horse vehicle.
