THE FREEZING WORKS.

There is now a ftfll board of slaughtermen at the South Otago Freezing Works, fully half of them being journeyman. Work is progressing iu a most satisfactory manuer, and yesterday there wore over BQO put through.' There is no lack of sheep; indeed, it looks as if the works are to be taxed to their utmdst capacity to fill the requirements of the district. ' There is up doubt that a prosperous time awaits the, local works, „and that the whole district will benefit thereby.
