OTANOMOMO.
OPENED NEXT MONTH. Seventeen sections of the newly acquired portion of the Otanojnomo estate will be opened by the Government next month, probably on the 26th. This will comprise 1280 acres, out of the total 1790 acquired. The remaining 510 acres will be divided into six areas, and will be opened in October. The land will be opened on renewable lease, with right of purchase, under the new Land Act of 1912. It is expected that plans and fuller derails will be available in a, few days.
