BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.

Fat Cattle. - Only 106 yarded, including 12 or 15 very prime quality North Island cuttle. For these and any other lots of good cattle yarded there was good competition at prices equivalent to about 22s Gd per 1001b. Half and three parts fat cattle of which quite two-thirds of the supply consisted were dull of sale, and sold at not much over the prices which were paid for them as stores. Quotations : Prime bullocks L9 to LlO 12s 6d ; ordinary L7 10s to L8 10s ; li<rhfc L5 10s toL6 10s; prime cows L7 to L8 7s Gd; ordinary L5 to L0 10s; aged and inferior L2 10s to L4 ] os. Pigs - The supply %as the largest that has been seen in the yards for some mouths, and although prices W ere easier a. good demand was experienced, and vendors on the whole were satisfied with the result of their sales.
