CLUTHA SALES.

Wilson Cameron and Co., report as follows : On Friday, May 17, we held our usual bi-monthly sale at our yards, when we yarded and sold on behalf of various vendors 850 sheep and 20 head cattle as follows -Wethers to 8s 6d, ewes to Bs, hoggets to 7s; b-ifers to L 4 4s, cows to L 5 15s, bullocks to L5 ; 6 : ; horses— draughts up to Ll9, hacks to LlO.lOs; pigs— sows from L 2 15s to L3.-- On Tuesday we submitted to auction the properties in the estate of Mr Geo. Thompson. There was a large attendance, and although they were not all sold under the hammer we are now in treaty privately, and expect to dispose of them in the course of a few days. — On Wednesday, 30th inst. , we held our usual sale at Owaka yards, when we yarded and sold 60 head cattle as follows— Steers to L5, cows to L 4 17s 6d, two years old to L 2 10, and calves from 25s to 30s. — We would report having sold privately during the week— 2oo ewes and wethers at from 9s to 10s; also Ariken's farm, Te Houka, consisting of 280 acres more or less, at a satisfactory price, Messrs Lindsay and Jefferies being the purchasers. Mutual Agency Company ov New Zealand Limited) report as follows :— We held a cleaiing sale at Mr James Hanley's farm, Te Houka on Friday 25th inst. There was not a very large attendance, but most of those present were buyprs, and everything sold at satisfactory prices. Crossbred wethers sold at 11s ; do ewes from 9s 3d to 8s ; draught horses from L2O to LI 5 15s • and implements and sundries at full values.
