Fat Cattle.—2o3 yarded, including some pens of very heavy hullocks. Tbe supply was in excess of the demand, and last week's prices were not maintained. Best bullocks brought L 8 Ws 6d to L 9 15s ; extra heavy LlO to Ll2 ; medium to good L 7 10s to L 8 12s 6d ; light L 5 10s to L 7 2s 6d; best cows L 6 17s 6d to L 8; medium to good L 5 5s to L 6 10s ; light aud aged L 2 17s6dtoL5. Fat Sheep.—l6ll penned, including about 80 merino wethers. Most of the crossbreds were ewes. Competition lacked spirit, and the prices were not up to those of last week. Best crossbred wethers brought 12s 9d to 13<? 3d ; ordinary lls 3d to 12s 6d ; best crossbred ewes 10s fid to 12s 6d ; ordinary 7s 9d to 9s 6d ; merino wethers 6s 6d.
