Wilson Cambkon and Co., report aa follows: On Friday last we held our usual bi-monthly sale nt our yards, when we yarded and sold on behalf of various vendors 2000 sheep as follows - Wethers lls to Ils7d; fat ewes to 12s; breeding ewes up to lls 6d, according to age and quality; lambs to 9s. The latter being bred by Mr Robert M'Lay, of Aburiri, and got by Messrs Hogg Bros., Rams. We noticed that young sheep of all descriptions wero in demand and sold readily at lull values, but old and inferior were neglected. We also sold 20 bead cattle at for cows L 6 6s, Steers L 5 10s, heifers and store cows L 3 to L 5, young cattle at current rates; unbroken colts and fillies from L 5 to L 6; pigs from 9s to 12s; hacks to Ll2.—On Wednesdoy we held a clearing sale behalf of Mr-! Meh-ose, who is leaving the district, and notwithstanding the rough weather prevailing, there was a large attendance of farmers and others, and everything was sold at satisfactory prices.—We have placed privately during the week 300 young ewes from 10s to 12s. The New Zealand L»nd Association reports as follows :—Having sold privately during the week 100 lambs at current rates.
