BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.
Fab Cattle. — Afc Burnside ou Wednesday HO bead yarded, the weight and quality being considerably above the average. All penned were disposed of at an advance on last week's prices. Best bullocks brought L'O 2s GI to Lll 5s ; merlin in to good LS.to L 9 ; light L 6 10' to L 7 17s Gd ; best cows L 7 17s Gd to LS 17s Gd ; medium to good L 5 10s to L 7 ; light and aged Lo.to L 5. Fat Sheep.— 3lß9 penned, including 300 merino wethers. Owing to tlie fact that most of the trade had killed out, and with the assistance of a demand for export, all good quality mutton met a fair sale, while poor quality was somewhat harder to. quit. Best crossbred wethors brought 18s ori to 14s Gd ; one or two pens extra heavy 14s 9il tolGs ; medium wethers lis 3d to 13s ; best crossbred ewes 12s to 13s ; inferior to medium Gs 9d to 10s ; and merino wethers (the majority of which were inferior* 3s to lOs. Fat Lambs. — 724 penned ranging from fair to good, with a few choice lots. Best sorts were well competed for at up to lO.s 3d, but most offered wera sold afc from 4s Gil fco 8s Gel.
