CLUTHA SALES.

Wilson Camekon and Co., report as follows : On Friday last we held our usual bi-monthly sale afc our yards, when we yarded ancl sold on behalf of various vendors 1572 sheep as follows — Wethers from 10s to 12s, young ewes up to 12s, lambs from 5s to Bs, merino ewes from 4s 6d to ss, rams up to L 3 3s ; also 29 head of cattle at full values. Young pigs brought from 9s fco lis. There was a large attendance of buyers, and while old ancl inferior sheep were dull of sale, young sound sheep nbroughfc full values. — We also sold privately during the week 450 ewes afc 9s Gd —We would also report having sold privately, on behalf of the trustees in the estate of the late F. S. Pillnns, allotment No. 20, Manuka Island, at L 3 2s 6d per acre. The New Zealand Lind Association reports having held a sale afc Balclutha on Friday. We had a large attendance, but, buyers exercised considerable caution, though for the lots disposed of fair prices were obtained. Wo sold 455 ciossbred lambs at 5s Gd to Os G.l ; 179 cro • bred ewes at Ss to 12s 6d ; and GO Romnoy ram lambs at Mutual Agency Company op New Zealand (Limited) report follows :— On Friday last April G, we held our usual fortnightly j sale at the Crown yards, Balclutha, when we yarded and sold 4000 sheep, 97 rams, and 50 head of cattle, at following prices — viz. : 750 crossbred ' wetliers at lis, 274 crossbred wethers afc 10s 4d, 400 crossbred ewea from 12s Id to llsfjd, 1550 aged ewes from 9s 9d to 8s 3d, 580 lambs from 8s Id to Os. merino ewes from 5s 'id to 4s Id, rairs from 4;fo;s, store bullocks from L 5 los to L 4 10s, cows and heifers from L 5 to L 3 17s Gd, yearlings from L2 los toLl 17s Gd.
