Fat Cattle.— J 6 9 yarded; under ordinary circumstances not an over supply, but as some of the trade were stocked privately those yarded were in excess of demands, aud although prices did not suffer much they were certainly n shade easier. Bullock's sold at L 6 10s to L 9 17s 6d ; cows at L 4 7s 6d to L 9 12s 6d. Pat Sheep. — 1008 penned consisting of .308 merinos and 700 crossbreds. The supply was insufficient to meet butchers' requirements. Prices opened at a slight advance, and continued to increase as sales went along, closing firm at from Is to 2s over last week's ruling rates. Crossbred wethers' sold at lis 6d to 15s 3d for extra tops , crossbred ewes at 9s 6d to 14s fid for extra tops, merino wethers 4s 3d to 9s 6d, merino ewes at 7s 6d. Baconers sold at 35s to SOs ; porkers 27s to 35s ; stores 17s 6d to 23s -, suckers 7s to 18s. Store Sheep.— During the week some large sales have taken place with a decided improvement in values.
