__ o — [B'nosi Onit Own Correspondent.] The Castle Hill Company sent away on Thursday the first truck of coal from their new seam. The Kaitangata Football Club has decided by a good majority of its members to play under Rugby rules this season. The opening match takes place on Saturday, when sides will be chosen by the president and vice-president. His worship the Mayor of Dunedin visited us on Friday; and to all appearances his late defeat in the licensing contest was a matter of little concern to him.
