The Lakeside Coal Company have bsen more fortunate in their work of prospecting than their neighbouring company. Work was commenced on Monday, and on Thursday they struck a seam of coal 18fn thick, the quality of which is equal to any in the district Mr Panlin has placed a sample in the hands of Dr Black for analysis.
