Sir, —Ch. A. Aziz (October 16) is incorrect, regarding England’s post-war recovery. England has never recovered, mainly because
of loose immigration and, in fact, this has been the downfall, both economically and otherwise. This can easily be proven by looking at which people are the major taxpayers and which people are sucking the benefit system dry; all this at the hands of another Labour Government. — Yours, etc.,
