Chang upset in final
NZPA-Reuter Los Angeles Aaron Krickstein, the comeback king, escaped defeat again yesterday to upset the top seed, Michael Chang, in three sets to win the Los Angeles Grand Prix tennis tournament. Krickstein, seeded fifth, came back from 6-2, 4-1 and two breaks down to beat fellow-American Chang 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. In the semi-finals, Krickstein survived seven match points against him to topple his second-seeded compatriot, Brad Gilbert, 1-6, 7-6, 6-2.
