Snedden gets wish
PA Auckland A pace bowler, Martin Snedden, has been granted his wish to await the birth of his second child in Auckland before heading for the national cricket tour of Australia. Snedden’s wife is expecting the baby on November 10 — the day New Zealand starts its fourday match against Western Australia in Perth. The » tourists’ next game is against South Australia in Adelaide on November 17. The matter was discussed by senior team officials. The tour coach, Bob Cunis, advised Snedden he had been granted the dispensation. After the game against South Australia, the New Zealanders head back to Perth for the test starting on November 24 against Australia.
