Sport. Family boxing triumph
PA Auckland It was a family triumph for the Seymours, of Whakatane, at the national boxing championships at Karaka yesterday. All three brothers, Patrick, aged 13, George, aged 14, and Robert, aged 15, won junior titles representing Central North Island. Patrick won the
39kg title, Robert won the 60kg title and George won his 52kg title. In other junior finals, G. Cullen, of Canterbury, lost his 41kg bout to G. Warrne (C.N.1.) on maj. points, while D. Hall, of Timaru, was unanimously beaten by M. Owen (Gisborne) in the 54kg section.
