Mathematics course
A decision on whether a controversial mathematics course at the University of Canterbury conforms to university regulations has been held over, until next week. The university’s academic administration committee yesterday decided that the two appeals relating to the course had not gone through the full procedure before being heard. The appeals arise from a year-long maths 105 course which can fail students halfway through the year.
