Golf museum begun
NZPA-AP St Andrew’s, Scotland Using a century old iron for the ceremonial ground-breaking, Officials yesterday began work on a museum of British golf. Sandy Sinclair, the captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, used the 1890 s iron to "take the first divot" for the foundation of the 5U52.72 million (SNZ4.3O million) museum, which is expected to be open when St. Andrew’s hosts the British Open next year.
