Juniors share series win

Templeton’s Tim Butt, and West Melton’s Gary Gilpin, were inaugural joint-winners of the Canterbury Junior Drivers’ Series Finals after the second final was decided at the Addington trials yesterday. Both reinsmen gained maximum points in the two finals when successful behind the same horse, News Of Fame, which gained his second penaltyfree win in a fortnight yesterday driven by Butt.
